The Yaesu FTA-750L is a handheld VHF nav/com that doubles as your panel-failure backup and your VOR/ILS navigation aid in a pinch. A built-in GPS drives a simple moving-map and lets you navigate direct-to a nearby field if your installed avionics quit. The full dot-matrix display shows glideslope and localizer needles for the ILS function.
