These gel ear seals are a direct-fit upgrade for David Clark H10-series headsets, swapping the original foam seals for silicone gel cushions that spread clamping pressure and seal better against glasses arms. Pilots who get hot spots or sore ears after a couple of hours are usually one ear-seal swap away from a far more comfortable headset.
Better sealing also means better passive noise attenuation, so even a basic passive H10 gets quieter. Installation is a few minutes with no tools — the seals slip over the existing ear cups.
